Bob Stundtner is a decisive, visionary leader with over twenty-five years of experience in facilities planning, budgeting, and project management at Cornell University.  His success as a facilities director is due to his pursuit of excellence through the application of appropriate technology and team-based decision-making processes.  He is a highly proficient communicator and group facilitator.

Supervised the planning and development of the annual planned and capital maintenance budgets and deferred maintenance database.  Additional responsibilities included analysis of routine and preventive maintenance activity, project management, asbestos program coordination, temporary space management and office management.  Advised senior facilities management on maintenance policy, practices, and budget strategies.  Authored draft Maintenance Management mission statement and policies.   Devised five-year capital maintenance financial plan.  Co-authored the campus asbestos action plan and was responsible for training and coordination of the Cornell Asbestos Response Team.  Supervised special projects for Facilities and Campus Services including the creation of temporary space and the asbestos management program.  Provided facilities cost portion of 1991 Precinct Plan including capital projections for 25 years and replacement cost algorithm for over 100 campus facilities.
